What type of camera do you use?

I shoot with a Nikon D7000 with a 35mm f1.8 lens. I also shoot with my iphone 4s and upload to instagram when I’m out and about.

What editing software do you use?

I use iPhoto on my 23″ iMac that is connected to 24″ Cinema Display.

Have you ever taken any photography classes?

Yes, I have taken one. Most of my knowledge comes from trial and error, testing out the functions on my camera. I have learnt the vast majority of what I know from my older brother, who’s got a huge passion for photography.

What do you DO?

I currently have several commitments:
1. I am a student at The University of Sydney where I am on the long journey to become a Nutritionist.
2. I am an apprentice at In 2 U Sydney.
3. I also do THIS … I blog & receive money from advertising. I currently work with the Amazon Associate program and Recipe Develop for several companies around Sydney.

Can I use your photos and recipes on my site?

You may use my recipes, just know that most of them are not created by me so please credit the original creator instead of me. Please do not use my photographs as they are copyrighted.

Where are the best places to eat in Sydney?

I have only lived in Sydney for two years & have not been everywhere (although that is the plan). The full list of places that I have eaten, can be found here.

How long have you been blogging?

I started Starloz as a food blog on March 6, 2010. It was a general blog before that. Let’s all agree not to discuss that time, it was awkward.

How long does it take you to write a blog post?

Typically, I would say about an hour. I edit my pictures straight away after shooting which means the writing part is quite a lengthy process for me.

How much weight have you lost and how did you lose it?

I love 52 kgs over a 16 month period and lost it the heathy way … Which is with clean eating and regular exercise. There is more information on my Weight Loss page.

Do you ever drink carbonated drinks?

The short answer is no. The long answer is that I used to drink RedBull on a daily basis and that happened for nearly two years … Now, I can’t stand the smell or taste.
