Avoid sugary beverages and snacks with calories but few nutrients.  Select exercises that are fun and not too demanding of you so that you will be able to keep doing them every day.  30 minutes of exercise at least 3 times a week is recommended.  If you follow this general advice you should be able to lose up to 24 pounds in 3 months. Weight control must be a lifetime habit in order to keep it off.
