oh, it’s been a lovely day.
the morning started off with meeting after meeting.
i feel incredibly grown up attending meetings.
it’s just such an adult thing to be doing.
giggling at a typo – wasn’t mature.
i couldn’t help it.
i quickly grabbed an orange juice & a egg plus salad muffin.
i could have made it myself but i was rushing about.
it only cost me $9.50 [$3 juice + $6.50 muffin] & was ready within 15 mins.
cafe moka saved me some serious time.
in the toasted muffin was:
a fried egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato, beetroot & BBQ sauce.
sometimes, i like to eat out of a paper bag.
this classy lady doesn’t need a plate.
i was in a hurry.
our third meeting was cancelled so we decided to have a late lunch.
we strolled down to bar zini, which is very lovely.
the ever changing menu won me over.
drinks to start with. [$3]
i ordered the soup of the day.
it was a creamy bowl of roasted sweet corn, potato & thyme. [$8].
the best part about ordering soup is the bread, so crispy.
i love ripping it up & letting it all soak in.
oh the sun, chill in the air & soup.
gosh, i’m happy.
upon hearing about the muffin selection from another table …
i knew we had to try one, i’m a fan of muffins. who isn’t?
the other table took the last pear & passionfruit.
i had a blueberry & banana muffin. [$4.50]
with a side of ricotta.
i’m living on a slight budget, but it’s flexible.
nothing makes me happier than a full belly & an easy day.
sure dining out cost money but it helps raise my passion for food.
i’m all about the flavours & experiences.
i spent $25 today & i’m ok with that.
my dining out budget hates me.
i’m home now dealing with paperwork.
i see chicken in my future.
