Sunkist Sunday

life on a Sunday should be just like mine was.

what’s needed for a perfect sunday you ask?
1. Sun
2. Great company
3. Chocolate
4. A little too much food
5. The fish markets &
6. Happiness

I definitely had all the above on my Sunday & let me tell you, my life is in a pretty great place.

My Eats

Breakfast

Breakfast must be eaten in the sun whenever possible:

I had a big huge bowl of mess this morning.
In the mix:
Cinnamon Roll Larabar, Guardian, Yogurt, my Muesli & Monster Muesli in Multigrain with banana & strawberries.

Beans & toast, simply because I’m obsessed.

Lunch

We headed down to H2o once again (this time for lunch) because the weather was perfect & nothing beats sunshine plus water.

Whenever I head out for a meal (any earlier than 5pm), I go for eggs. It’s just one of those odd things I always do.

In the mix:
4 scrambled egg whites, poached spinach, ketchup & 1 slice of toasted sourdough.

Dinner

We made a trip to The Sydney Fish Market & hit up De Costi.

We came home with Oysters & Yellow Fin Tuna!

“The Chefette” made up an incredible salad:
In the mix:
Snap Beans, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado, carrot & celery.

The tuna was pan-fried in soya sauce, lemon juice & thyme. The oysters were served with lemon juice & the bread was not needed but who can resist white bread from time to time? not me!

  2. Eggs are great any time of day! They’re like a meal in their own right. One of my favourite dinners when I was a kid was when Mum was feeling lazy and made scrambled eggs on untoasted, fresh bread =D
