Hangin’ out in the sun … again

What’s better than crawling out of bed & heading out for breakfast on a beautiful day with yo momma?

I say nothing!

My Eats

Breakfast

We headed down to H2o Cafe for breakfast.

I’ve seen some pretty oily items come out of the kitchen when I’ve been at H2o Cafe grabbing a coffee. The food has come out glistening & that’s a real turn off for me.

I decided to give the chef a chance at making me an egg white scramble. It can’t come out that badly, can it?
Um, doesn’t that look perfect?

It was, the eggs were cooked perfectly. I have no idea how the chef made these so I might have to ask next time. (He may have used cream?)

I paired my scrambled egg whites, slice of sourdough toast & ketchup with a Skinny Latte.

Snackage

After an intense gym session with Lily, I had some Muesli with fresh strawberries & yogurt

Dinner

I’m a huge fan of awkward dinners, I like mixing things & using leftovers.

On the plate:
* Half a Quorn Cottage Pie with tomato sauce
* Leftover seafood & pasta
* Freshly steamed vegetables

The Quorn Cottage Pie was delicious. The “Mince” was lovely, the flavor was intense & the vegetables inside didn’t taste like your typical frozen meal.
I loved it.

I added a new page introducing you to “The Others” who appear frequently on the site.

  1. Those are massive strawberries alongside the muesli, especially considering it’s winter!

    And make sure you’re SPFed – you’re developing a habit of burning yourself, if only continually on one side of your face =p

  2. Your muesli looks really good! I love eating out in the sunshine :)
