Susan has done it again. She has created an awesome post that I’ve just got to duplicate.
Every food blogger has a different way of taking their photographs. I, personally take about 3-5 photographs per meal & I use the best of the crew to share with you. (Hello there).
Today you’ll see the good & the bad, mainly because I’d love to give you a better look at what life as a daily food blogger is really like.
My Eats
Breakfast
I started with my morning with Peanut Butter M&M’s on top of my Basic Stovetop Oats.
Look at those babies melting.

When my Peanut Butter M&M’s run out, breakfast will never be the same.
The bad ones:

My next course:
Brioche, crisped up in le oven:

Then smothered in St Dalfour Wild Blueberry Spread:

The bad:

Lunch
We headed out for a meeting & ended up having a lunch while at H2o Cafe.
We shared a Vegetarian Pizza:

The ingredients were very simple & this pizza was seriously lacking in flavor. It could have used some extra ingredients. On the pizza was sun-dried tomato, feta cheese, fresh basil and spanish onion.
I had one slice with my Skinny Latte:

The bad:

Snack
I made up a batch of my Muesli for the next few mornings before my meeting & came home wanting some.
I topped it with yogurt:

The bad:

Dinner
I love being with family friends, the stories from the old days are so incredible & I laughed, oh yes, I laughed.

We headed to Pyrama for dinner & I’m afraid to admit that I haven’t been able to figure how to shoot in a dark restaurant as of yet.
The starter was salt and pepper calamari with wild rocket and harissa

The bad:

My main course was sea scallops, zucchini and herb risotto:

I personally don’t like wine in my risotto but it made for a very interesting addition. The scallops were cooked to perfection & retained their flavour so well.
The bad:

How many pictures do you take for a blog post?

heaps! Sometimes I only ahve single shot chance at each dish, so use it anyway meeps! But home meals will get a few, and the least worst one chosen
Awh its a shame your pizza was lacking in flavour! I’m loving vegetarian pizzas at the moment. My favourite combination to make for lunch is a mini wholewheat pita topped with crushed tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, fetta and chilli flakes – so yummy!
How many photos I take for my posts depends on whether I’m having a good or bad day.
Some days I can get “the shot” in one or two shots, but others it will take me 10-20.. It also depends on whether I like what I’m taking the photo of or not
Sometimes I reaaally can’t be bothered, and I’ll do it really quickly and rushed.
