Zinc absorption

I went to the doctor this morning & I received my blood test results

The great news is I’m not Anemic, however, I am low in Zinc.

I thought I’d share some information on Zinc absorption with you that I received from my doctor.

Zinc helps with immunity & tissue growth plus repair. Severe zinc deficiency depresses immune function.
Zinc is low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, sodium, and added sugars.

Excellent sources are:
Legumes, nuts & seeds, breakfast cereal that have added Zinc, wholegrain bread & eggs, baked beans & chickpeas.

For the Non-Vegetarian’s – Oysters, red meat, and poultry.
