My Vow

Oh hello lovelies,
I made a rather large decision in my mind yesterday & it’s blog worthy.

I’m vowing to never eat unhealthy “Fast Food” again.

My weight gain was a diet of fast food & other unhealthy decisions over a period of 3 years. I lived on the following: KFC, McDonalds, Red Rooster & Hungry Jacks.
I’m not blaming these companies for my weight gain because I chose to eat there but they were the main factors that lead to me being an unhealthy 117 kgs or 257 lbs.

The worst thing about “Fast Food” is that it’s convenient, cheap & after awhile it begins to taste good.

Why am I now vowing to NEVER eat there again?
Because I don’t need to eat a meal that has very little nutritional value & leaves you hungry, wanting more. I’ve not touched “Fast Food” since I made the choice to lose my excess weight & I’m never going to eat it again, EVER!

I’m going to be a mean blogger & keep this Naan a secret for a little while.

  1. My best decision was to adopt the attitude of never regretting anything that I do. That meant meaning what I say, saying what I mean and doing as I preach. It’s worked for more than 10 years so I’m sticking to it!

  2. well done. you’ve got great self control. i think after a while anything becomes a habit and good habits are the best to have with your healthy eating. i don’t think i’ve had KFC and red rooster for over 10 years now or more but i still have a big mac from time to time when out late at night and feeling like some to eat and nothing else is around or when i’m on a road trip :-)
