Just cut another hole

APARTMENT NEWS

I haven’t had many issues with the apartment recently.
Mainly because we’re still putting together a list of defects.

All things were running relatively smoothly until last Friday my bathroom door decided to get stuck. As in impossible to slide, no movement at all.

How does one fix this?
Cut a huge hole Have a sticky beak.Remove the door & do some builder thingsAdjust a few things through the holePut door back & close holes.

MY EATS

I started my morning with a huge bowl of my Basic Stovetop Oats & topped it with Barambah Organics Yogurt, Rhubarb, Blueberry & Cinnamon Confit, almonds & some fresh pineapple. .I wasn’t full from the oatmeal so I cut up a huge ruby grapefruit.

SNACK

I ate these two snacks but I can’t remember when.
I shared a slice of Dallas Gourmet Bread’s Pumpkin Cob with Vegemite with “The Chefette” I also (at some point) had a pear topped with Barambah Organics Yogurt, two Petite Choc Meringues & a sprinkle of chocolate.

DINNER

You can always tell when I’ve been to Redfern because I eat these babies. Steamed Sui Mai dumplings with soyThe main event was a huge ass salad. In the mix:
One Australian Eatwell Lentil Burger, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, mixed lettuce, beetroot & Praise Balsamic Fat Free DressingI’ve found salads to be so easy to make, i’m excited to try some other mixes.
Who says you can’t have salads in winter?

FRUIT PORN

What’s your favorite salad?

  1. Mmmm, dumplings. LOVE.

My favorite salad? I have so many! I like anything with fruit in it!

  2. Love ruby red grapefruit! And pink grapefruit for that matter. They both still offer a citrusy tang but without the in-your-face tartness of standard grapefruit.

Um, so is that hole going to be patched?

  3. I’ve got the same question – Is the hole a permanent fixture?
My favourite salad would probably have to be a greek salad – with super fresh tomatoes and crunchy cucumber.
