I did it, I made it to 21. Ok, so there was never any doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t reach 21. It was just always sooo far away, it’s been & gone now. I remember when I was younger, I dreamed about my 21st & was so excited to think it was going to be on a Saturday.
I had the most amazing night.
I was able to get a large group of my friends (who are always busy) together at once. It was great that they were able to make it & that we could all catch up to have a chat.

One of my friends who is currently living in Canada happened to be here during my party & I got to see her after about 6 months.
I had most of my crazy family there as well. My Mum, Dad, Uncle, Great Aunty & Brother. Here is my brother & uncle & mum.

Simone, my best best girlfriend came with her boy. Simone & I have been bffs for 15 years now, we met in primary school & despite a states separating us for most of our friendship, we have stayed close. We always promised each other we’d be at the others 21st & we both were. (Some of you might remember I was at her 21st last year, here)
After the embarrassing speeches where it was revealed that one friend wrote me love letters after I left one school. That my black friend will now refer to me as ‘little whitey’ & that my parents knew I was getting my tongue pierced even thought I was always certain I had hid the date well & all the love…
The real party begun, drinking then some more drinking & did I mention drinking…

I had an amazing time & I love being able to say “I’m 21″ whenever I’m asked..

See you around soon,
Loz
